Q: Where did work for the first time?
A: Well, I worked as Editor staff at CHIP magazine. This is a computer
magazine.
Q: What was your responsibilities?
A: Since CHIP is a computer magazine from
German, most of their materials come from CHIP German. I had to
translate from German into Bahasa and sometimes I also searched material
from Internet. It was fun working for CHIP but unfortunately I must quit, cause I was still in last semester and I got final assignment to
finish
Q: If you enjoy working in CHIP, why did you not return?
A: I'd love to actually, but at that time I received an offer to be
freelance Scriptwriter/Project Officer in Masima Radionet Production
House. It is an audio production.
Q: You said you want to concentrate on your assignment, then why you
still accepted that offer?
A: Working as freelancer was not disturbing my focus in finishing my
assignment. In Radionet, I only worked twice a week.
Q: How long have you worked in Radionet?
A: Almost a year
Q: What have you done while you in Radionet?
Q: I did several radio commercials and radio programs, like Milo, Oreo,
Ardath - quiz on the street, Bank Ekonomi, Manulife, Satelindo 008,
Dummy MTV Fresh on radio. I forgot the rest. It was two years ago
Q: Why you quit from Masima?
A: I didn't say I quit, I was freelancer there. Even though I really
enjoyed working in Radionet, I also want to have permanent job that's
why I took an opportunity to work in Radio A - 96,7 FM. It was a brand
new radio station.
Q: A radio? I believe your job descriptions was not too far with your
previous job in Radionet?
A: You got it. I wrote scripts for announcer, produced one or two
programms. I was also asked to be announcer there
Q: Really? How was it?
A: Well, I have to admit I have terrible voice. But my boss forced to do
that, well then Ok lah... I did for five months
Q: Don't you think that it is too soon?
A: Yup. I also regret it, but I had to make up my mind. I love the job,
environment, friends but I hate the management. It was awful. I quit
from Radio A some time in April 2000 and I got accepted in PT Travoo
Online as journalist in June 2000
Q: Was is that?
A: It's a travel company. The first online travel in Southeast
Asia. I wrote everything related to tourism industry, such as
places of interest, entertainment, and movies.
Q: You keep doing 'til now?
A: After six months I was working as Journalist, I moved to marketing
department in the same company as account executive. I love the job,
getting to know new people, building relationship, making people trust
you with your service are things I do as account executive.
Q: OK, After working as scriptwriter, project officer, producer,
journalist and account executive, what do you want to do next?
A: I just want to do my job professionally, and I have still little
wish in realizing TV demo production, which was worked when I was in
college together with my friends, that's all
